Final Fantasy Tactics Advance Region Create Setups Version 0.5 Written by AstroBlue (astroboy_blue@yahoo.com) Last Updated: September 26th, 2003 ****************************************************************************** This guide is a collection of pre-designed map setups for Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Borrowing heavily from Square's Legend of Mana "Artifact Placement" system, FFT-A's "Region Create" system involves placing symbols on a map to form the land of Ivalice. The patterns you create from placing symbols on the map effect what items you will receive from "Treasure Hunts", which are special events that will appear after placing down a symbol amongst other symbols. For a better explanation, please see the TREASURE HUNT section of my Final Fantasy Tactics Advance FAQ / Strategy Walkthrough. All of these maps have been designed to "milk" as much as possible from the "Region Create/Treasure Hunt" system. To use these Map Setups, when you recieve a new "Symbol"; read what location (number) it is to be place on for that setup, and then place it on the corresponding location (number) according to the map (ivalice_map.gif) which comes with the zipped version of this guide. The map can also be found on my OptusNet Members WebSpace: http://members.optusnet.com.au/astroblue/ivalice_map.gif For example: if the setup says Sprohm is 14, then place it on the space designated by a 14 on the provided map. Which is the space just above Cyril DO NOT confuse (ivalice_map.gif) with my "Treasure Hunt Map". They are different maps with completely different purposes. Please feel free to send in any Map Setups that you create. Make sure you include; the Map Setups name (be creative), the name you want to be credited as, and four lines max describing the features of the Setup. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - P e r f e c t I v a l i c e (AstroBlue) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - * All Treasure Hunt-Only items, both English (Gastra Bow & Galmia Shoes) and Japanese (Genji Armlets & Mindu Gem). * Various rare items (Zeus Mace, Materia Blade, Tiara, & Sage Robe) * Makes Geographic sense (Deti leads to Siena which leads to Amber, etc.) Sprohm - 14 Lutia - 19 (Red Boots) Nubs - 12 Eluut - 4 Ulei - 5 Cadoan - 24 (Rubber Suit) Aisen - 18 Roda - 13 Koring - 17 (Materia Blade) Salika - 16 Nargai - 22 (Telaq Flower) Baguba - 25 (Ribbon) Dorsa - 1 Kudik - 15 (Tiara) Jeraw - 8 (Ruby Earring) Muscadet - 21 Uladon - 3 Gotor - 2 (Galmia Shoes) Ahli - 7 (Genji Armlets) Delia - 6 (Mindu Gem) Ozmon - 23 (Gastra Bow & Zeus Mace) Materi - 9 Tubola - 20 Helj - 26 Deti - 11 Siena - 10 (Sage Robe) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - C i n q u e A r m i (AstroBlue) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - * Get Cinquedea early, and therefore get "Steal Ability" early!! * Five great weapons with five great abilities; (Materia Blade, Cinquedea, Madu, Zeus Mace & Princess Guard).
